Sample Meal Prep Menus
I try as much as I can to stress that we are a Personal Chef service...so everything we do is personalized (i.e. customized) to each clients likes/needs/preferences/routines. That's especially true with our menus. No two menus are the same with our weekly meal prep clients. If they wanted a pre set menu each week that you get to choose from, along with hundreds of other people, then they wouldn't need us.
I do, however, realize that telling someone that they can have pretty much anything they want doesn't necessarily help make the decision any easier. So I've decided to lay out some actual menus we've cooked up recently to help give anyone considering our meal prep service some options as to what could be. There's plenty of variety to see that weekly meal prep really can be for all types of people.
Again keep in mind that these have each been customized to our clients. If you don't like an ingredient, or dish, or would rather have a certain something with a certain something else well then have at it!
-Chicken Fajitas w/Guacamole & Pico (tortilla, cheese, lettuce not pictured)
-Jalapeno Chicken Stir Fry, Scallion Fried Rice
-Garlic Butter Basted Beef Filets, Rosemary Roasted Potatoes
A good example of our service being utilized for weeknight dinners all served family style. It works for this family of 4.
-Shrimp Lo Mein
-"Spiedini" Style Chicken w/Garlic & Herb Buttered Noodles
- Bacon Wrapped, Mushroom & Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf w/Roasted Asparagus & Rainbow Potatoes
Another good example of weeknight family dinners only this time served pre-portioned for convenience. A single parent with 3 children. Extra side of noodles for the infant.
-Chicken Cordon Bleu, Zucchini & Cherry Tomato Medley, Roasted Potatoes
-Japanese Steak House Style Dinner w/Steak, Fried Rice, Stir Fried Veggies
-Chicken Mushroom Marsala w/Roasted Cauliflower & Asparagus
-Peanut Butter Power Balls
All pre portioned for this busy client. 2 working parents and 2 teenage daughters in high school. All with completely different eating schedules but still able to eat homemade delicious food. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner options here with on-the-go snacks to eat on the way to practice.
-Portobello Mushroom Pho w/Edamame, Scallions, Cilantro, Lime, & Noodles
-Vegan Lentil Meatloaf, Blistered Mini Peppers, Roasted Butternut Squash
-Curried Chickpea & Broccoli Salad
-Apple Cinnamon Muffins
A lot going on here. This is for a busy working husband & wife with 2 young boys. This meal prep is mainly for the adults who adopted a vegetarian diet to lose some weight. The Pho & Meatloaf options for dinner, Broccoli Salad for lunch, and the muffins were a little something for the kids to enjoy.
What we learned today:
No 2 clients are the same, and no 2 menus are the same
You can have as much or as little meals as you need. It's about what fits to your schedule. Some people need an entire week of meals, others just want some dinners to get them through the work week grind so they can cook or go out on their own on the weekends.
Just to reiterate from above: you can have whatever you want each and every week!
